To mark the Fishing and Water Festival, 50 kg of trout will be put into the castle moat, with a view to introducing children under the age of 14 to fishing.

The association Le Brochet Caennais will be sharing tips with these young fishers, so that they can discover the joys of fishing, without getting their “lines” crossed.

And to enhance this day, children will be able to take part in a range of hands-on, educational activities on the themes of fish, fishing and water.
