Crèvecœur
Castle
[3rd weekend in September, during the Heritage Days]
Events,
The traditions of entertainment
For two days each year, the castle celebrates Norman traditions and conjures up the spirit of yesteryear.

Local producers, dancers, musicians and enthusiasts will be taking it in turn to bring local Norman traditions to life. Taste the local produce (cider, jam, foie gras, honey etc.), try your hand at professions of the past (bobbin lace-making, spinning etc.), learn how to milk a cow and beat the cream, bake an apple tart, admire folk-dancing or enjoy cart rides.

The Heritage Days were created in 1984 by the French Ministry of Culture and Communication.
Each year, on the 3rd weekend in September, museums, sites, state-owned or private buildings, businesses, parks, gardens etc. open up their doors to show the public what goes on behind the scenes every day in order to preserve and enhance French heritage.
