Crèvecœur
Castle

[3rd weekend in September, during the Heritage Days]
Saturday 15 and Sunday 16 September, 2018
Events,
The traditions of entertainment
For two days each year, the castle celebrates Norman traditions and conjures up the spirit of yesteryear.

Workshops for the children: baking Norman cakes in the castle bread oven, milking, pottery workshop, making butter and fruit jellies.
Forgotten trades: spinning on a spinning wheel, embroidery.
And regional market with local producers.

The Heritage Days were created in 1984 by the French Ministry of Culture and Communication.
Each year, on the 3rd weekend in September, museums, sites, state-owned or private buildings, businesses, parks, gardens etc. open up their doors to show the public what goes on behind the scenes every day in order to preserve and enhance French heritage.
